PGM Visit to Golf Trends Headquarters (Photo tour)

Words and Photos by Jeremy Kehler

Earlier this year, PGM had the opportunity to tour the national distribution headquarters of Golf Trends Inc.  For those who aren’t aware, Golf Trends supplies 25% ++ of the pro shops in Canada. They distribute everything from Poker chips to electric trolleys.  All of the Tour Edge product in Canada comes though Golf Trends, as well as several other nationally recognized brands.

Golf Trends Prairie region rep Matt Westover gave us the tour.  What was supposed to a 20-25 min event turned into an hour+ long jaunt through the facility.

This is a picture heavy piece and there are some pretty cool things we were able to capture. The warehouse is like Disneyland to a golf junkie and we hope you enjoy these shots accompanied by some anecdotal thoughts.

Vigor Sunglasses.

These UVA/B frames retail around $75 and the lenses provide crisp and clear vision.  The fit and finish is comparable to glasses that cost in the $125 range and the rubber arms grab nicely to a hat, keeping them nice and stable.

Tour Edge CBX Blade

This might be the most underrated blade in golf right now. Forged goodness. And if you forgot to do the dishes, it will easily act as a butter knife for your morning toast.

Lamkin Gold Wrap Tech Midsize.

If these were regular they probably would be in my possession right now.  Note the 58R on a midsize grip.

Some older “leftovers”.   XJ1 is still a tremendous club for slower swing speeds.

Wood Tees

They have small, medium, large and wholesale bags of tees. Not sure how many they have but it has to be in the millions.

This might be one of slickest ball retrievers. Collapses into 16″.  No one will ever know what you’re hiding in your bag.

Magnetic towels are great for cart golf as they easily attach to most carts. Can also be used with some non aluminum golf push carts.

In the same massive warehouse, GT’s sister company, which distributes strollers and accessories, has some space they use for operations. Some of those products might be visible in the photos.  Maybe next year we’ll do a separate piece on that.

Just kidding.
